Study Abroad Resources
Nervous about studying abroad?
Is it a requirement for your major?
Is funding an issue?
Or do you just have questions?
Then you have come to the right page.
When preparing to study abroad I had a lot of questions but little information seemed accessible. If it was available the answers I needed seemed unanswerable.
Well I hope to use this site to help you with your trip.
First thing many students worry about is funding. Study abroad can be very expensive. However, there are many scholarships and grants that you can apply for.
First find a possible study abroad program. There are many programs offered through the OU Education Abroad website and they have walk-in advising in order to discuss possible options.
However, if you are planning on studying in a country such as Indonesia you need to look more in depth for other options outside of OU programs. This may be challenging but don’t give up. There is almost always a program out there. Try sites such as:
SIT Abroad
IIE Passport
After finding a suitable program begin looking for scholarships/grants/loans and see if your current funding in applicable. Meet with education abroad advisors to discuss these matters.
